Despite offering a wide range of dental services, their online presence was underperforming, resulting in missed opportunities to attract regular patients. Their goals were straightforward: increase online visibility in Los Angeles, drive more appointment bookings through lead forms and calls, and establish authority in the local dental market.
The project focused on the dental industry in Los Angeles, with lead generation as the primary KPI. Over a 12-month timeline (ongoing), we provided a suite of SEO services, including website SEO, Google My Business management, local SEO, content strategy, and technical optimization. Initially targeting 35 keywords, the campaign expanded to include 627 highly relevant keywords to capture a broader audience.

We began with an in-depth analysis of the local search result page, identifying highly relevant keywords categorized by intent. These included the 120 transactional keywords like the following;

Local SEO was a foundation of our strategy, given the client’s focus on Los Angeles. We optimized the GMB listing with high-quality images, detailed service descriptions, and consistent NAP information.
A proactive review acquisition plan significantly increased positive patient reviews, boosting local trust. We also secured high-authority listings across dental directories and local business platforms to strengthen local search rankings.
The results speak for themselves. Within the first quarter of the campaign, we achieved significant growth across all key metrics.
Organic Growth Metrics
Active users increased by 56.8%, while new user acquisition rose by 59%. This growth demonstrates the effectiveness of our keyword targeting and content strategy in attracting and engaging potential patients.
Appointment bookings through lead forms increased by 38.8%, while calls for appointments skyrocketed by 221.3%. These metrics highlight the success of our GMB optimization and local SEO efforts in driving qualified leads.
The campaign secured rankings for 627 keywords in the target area, including 120 high-intent transactional keywords and 543 commercial keywords. This visibility ensures the practice dominates the SERPs for both immediate conversions and long-term lead generation.
The GMB profile generated 1,567 interactions, including 305 calls, 492 requests for directions, and 770 website clicks. Mobile devices accounted for 67% of interactions, underscoring the importance of mobile optimization in local SEO.
The campaign’s success can be attributed to precision-driven keyword targeting, a holistic approach combining content, technical, and local SEO strategies, and a focus on dominating Google My Business. Continuous optimization based on real-time analytics insights ensured the strategy remained effective and adaptable.
